Back-over Accidents

Before starting…..

• Ensure no obstructions & sufficient clearance
• Never lift, move or swing a load over anyone or over any machine/vehicle.
• Control entry & exit of person/machine to the danger zone.
  – the procedure to approach.
• Always look around before backing or moving the machine.  Ensure everyone is clear.
• Use a horn or other signals to warn before moving.
• Use a signal as required.
• Windows, mirrors, and lights – clean & in good condition.
