Overhead Guards

Some vehicles are equipped with Overhead guards

–  Roll Over Protective Structure  (ROPS)
–  Falling Object Protective Structure (FOPS)

These systems consist of steel bracing and/or cage material which surrounds the operator’s position on the machine.
In event of a rollover, ROPS assembly is designed to protect operators from serious injury, if basic safety rules are followed.

FOPS are intended to help prevent serious injury if a falling object strikes the machine from above. FOPS is integrated into the roof assembly.
