Refuelling must be done.
Refuelling locations should be well clear of other structures, and work areas.
The engine must be stopped.
No source of ignition within 3m or 10 ft.
Bonding shall be maintained between the tank & nozzle or spout while refuelling.
Extreme care – to avoid spills or overfilling.
– Spilled fuel – wiped up or flushed away before starting the engine.
Do not fill the tank to the top.
Fuel expands as the temperature rises,
allowing room for pressure build-up.
