- Practice safety in all equipment operations.
- You are responsible for your own safety & the safety of others.
- Know the purpose & function of all equipment controls.
- Do not operate a vehicle unless it is in safe operating condition.
- Know the surface conditions of the entire site in which you will be working.
- Know the weight & characteristics of the material being transported.
- Never attempt any job the machine is not equipped to perform.
– Know equipment limitations. - Know how the COG applies to your machine & the load being transported.
- Perform PM as per the operator’s manual.
- Request assistance whenever necessary to safely complete your job.
- Ensure you have full visibility at all times & other workers know when you are operating in their work area.
- Know the location of overhead lines or underground utilities.
- Know & follow all rules that affect your work.
- Never leave a running vehicle unattended.
